Morocco, the United States and Israel signed a Joint Declaration two years ago declaring that the United States recognizes Moroccan sovereignty over the entire territory of Western Sahara and reiterates its support for a serious, credible and realistic proposal for autonomy as the only basis for a just and lasting solution to the dispute over the territory of Western Sahara. Sahara. Under this tripartite document, Morocco was the fourth Muslim country to establish relations with Israel. A little earlier in the same 2020, as part of the Abraham Accords, Bahrain, Sudan and the UAE established diplomatic relations with Israel. The peace agreements have received a sharp response in the Middle East. Many countries in the region condemned these Muslim states for rapprochement with Israel. How is the process of normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel proceeding? What historical background favors the politics of reality in bilateral relations?<\/p>\r\n
