PRODUCTION ACTIVITY OF GENERATION Z COGNITIARY<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Abstract: Understanding the processes during the transition to an information\/digital society gives rise to forecasts for the development of human society in the near future. Such forecasts are usually based on extrapolation of existing processes of our time into the future. The study focuses on young age cohorts of specific social classes, their values, and priorities. By applying information and communication approach, the author proposes the principle of \u201cconstructing\u201d a forecast based on the study of the values and structure of communications of generation Z, the first generation of the digital society. This study highlights the social class of information product and communication network producers – the cognitariat, and the researched age cohort – Generation Z, born in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The cluster’s attitudes towards categories such as common sense, responsibility, and adaptability to discrete employment are examined. The conclusion is drawn about the necessity of considering the cognitariat of Generation Z from the perspective of the specificity of the digital society.<\/p>\r\n
