Distinct values and priorities of generation Z will have a major influence both on urban environment itself, and on the desire of the population to live and work in The City. The goal of the research is to determine the correlation between different factors, which can motivate the younger generation to either live and work in The City, or to leave it. Classic qualitative and quantitative methods of sociological analysis (survey, focus groups) have identified, that the majority of young people like their City and, simultaneously, seek to leave it if they have the opportunity. A regressive analysis of the database, created with the help of \u201cMegaZ\u201d software, was being utilized to clarify the factors, influencing the decision of choosing a place to live. It has been determined that both material (ability to receive prestigious education, high income, convenience) and non-material factors, making up the general view of an ideal city model for
