The article provides a comprehensive study of the legal regime of personal data in the context of digital transformation of society. Modern theoretical approaches of leading domestic and foreign scientists to the regulation of personal data circulation are analyzed, and the main problems of legal provision of individual information security are identified. Special attention is paid to the methodological foundations and promising directions for improving the legal protection of personal data in the context of information technology development.<\/p>\r\n
