ON THE ISSUE OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY RELATIONS IN MODERN RUSSIA<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The article considers the modern characteristics of the Russian family, conditioned not only by economic, but also by political and demographic processes in the life of society. Marriage and family relations are regulated by legal acts, among which are the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Family Code of the Russian Federation, where the key institution is the legal concept of marriage. The author analyzes actual marriage relations and marriage-family relations registered in the civil registry offices. The content of the article also includes modern aspects of the peculiarities of marriage-family relations possible without state registration of marriage and aimed at protecting the interests of de facto spouses. Transformation of social values and individualization lead to rethinking of traditional family models. The author emphasizes the need for legislative regulation of the legal status of de facto marriages, as the lack of clear regulation creates uncertainty and may lead to violation of the rights of de facto spouses.<\/p>\r\n
