TOWARDS THE ISSUE OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN THE SPHERE OF BIOBANKING<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Author examines the impact of the international development of biobanking on the development of administrative and legal regulation of biobanks in Russia using the example of the pilot project of the World Health Organization \u00abWHO Bio-Hub System\u00bb. Based on the results of the study, author comes to the conclusion that the development of national regulation cannot be eliminated from taking into account international standards for the handling of biomaterials and information about them. This could be explained by the need to ensure maximum mobility of samples and information about them both domestically (a network of biobanks in Russia) and internationally. The WHO Bio-Hub System is a unique and most effective mechanism that clearly demonstrates the importance of accelerating the exchange of such objects in order to counteract epidemics and pandemics as well as preserve and maintain the highest level of health for all mankind.<\/p>\r\n
