THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PUBLIC AND CORPORATE IN THE LEGAL REGULATION OF THE STATUS OF A LAWYER UNDER THE LAWS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS: ON THE ISSUE OF HARMONIZATION OF LEGISLATION ON ADVOCACY IN THE UNION STATE<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The article examines legislative and practical issues arising in the field of the correlation of public law and corporate law bases for regulating the legal status of lawyers in the Union state of Russia and Belarus through the prism of the development of the principle of independence of the legal profession and its implementation in the national legislations of the two countries. The analysis of the regulatory functions of the state, implemented by public authorities when acquiring the status of a lawyer in Belarus, and the certification of lawyers is carried out. The author believes that in order to overcome obstacles in the process of harmonizing legislation on the legal profession, it is necessary to reform both the bilateral relations between the professional communities of lawyers in the Union State and the national legislations of the participating countries.<\/p>\r\n
