PhD thesis «The proportion of international and national legal regulation of foreign investments in Russia» is defended in the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, led by Professor Aleksandr Bogatyrev. Also in 2006 defended his doctoral thesis on «International legal regulation of investment relations: Theory and Practice» (scientific advisor Professor Igor Lukashuk).

In 2007, on his own conceptual design he established international periodical – «Eurasian Law Journal» (published monthly since January 2009). In February 2010, the journal is included in the List of the leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications, where major scientific results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of sciences should be published.

 

Main lines of scientific research: development of the doctrine of international law, international investment law, legal regime of foreign investments in Russia, arbitration practice of reasonable measures of state intervention in international investment project and etc.

 

Served grant internship in the U.S., took part on grant basis in international conferences: Central European University (CEU, Budapest, Hungary); Tehran (Iran); Berlin (Germany); Almaty (Kazakhstan), etc.
